You can delete your Currents account, and the data that goes with it, at any time. Deletion starts immediately and usually finishes within a few minutes. It can't be undone.
1.How to delete your account
- iPhone or Android app: open your profile → Settings → Privacy → Delete my account, confirm your sign-in, and follow the prompts.
- Web: sign in at currents.love/settings/account and choose Delete my account.
- Can't sign in? Email support@currents.love from the email address on your account (or tell us the phone number on it) and ask us to delete it. We'll verify the request and delete the account within 30 days.
2.What gets deleted
Your profile, phone number, email, settings, recipes, moments, Studio posts and music, dreams, photos, videos, audio, comments, ratings, hearts, recipe notes, favorites, feedback and connections — including posts you made on behalf of a Creator Profile. Creator Profiles, households and shared grocery lists you belong to stay with their other members.
3.What we keep
- Messages you sent stay in the other participants' conversations, shown as from “Deleted User.” Photos you sent are deleted.
- Moderation reports, by account ID, which may include an excerpt of reported content.
- Security logs, which are deleted automatically within 180 days.
- A minimal record that an account ID was deleted, and anything the law requires us to keep.
